Utopie Kulturforum: Hermann Parzinger meets Max Hollein
Wednesday, 17. November 2021
Potsdamer Str. 50
Max Hollein was a child when his father, the architect Hans Hollein, was busy connecting the Berlin Kulturforum into a meaningful whole. Today, the director of the Metropolitan Museum in New York is himself busy fascinating visitors to a place of art. And he asks himself what guests expect from a museum today – and what they don’t. How do museums cope with crises and what will happen to cultural quarters in general? Max Hollein comes to Berlin and talks to Hermann Parzinger, President of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation, in the new Neue Nationalgalerie about his memories of the Kulturforum and what might become of it, but also, of course, about challenges and new beginnings after the pandemic. The conversation will be moderated by Weltkunst editor-in-chief Lisa Zeitz.
The event is free of charge. Please register at email@example.com stating your name, address and your e-mail address or telephone number.
