Future Walk

The Future Walk app invites you to explore the Kulturforum and its museums in an interactive way. You will be contacted by Andrea, a curator from the year 2261, and help him with his secret mission. Find artworks lost in his time with him and unlock additional information about the objects together. The selected museum objects, paintings and architecture become part of the futuristic narrative with augmented reality, while the cinematic soundtrack immerses you deeper and deeper into the world of Future Walk.

You can tour the Gemäldegalerie (Old Master Paintings), the Musikinstrumenten-Museum (Museum of Musical Instruments), and the Kunstgewerbemuseum (Museum of Decorative Arts) in search of clues and puzzles at your own pace over the course of one or more days. You choose how much time you want to spend in each museum. Look around some more if you feel like it. A walk through the streets of the Kulturforum rounds out the experience and shows you more exciting corners to explore on your own.

If you want to play through the Future Walk in one day, plan at least 2 to 3 hours for this. Tickets for the time slots in the above-mentioned collections are available on site or in the online ticket stores of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin (National Museums in Berlin) and the Staatliches Institut für Musikforschung (State Institute for Music Research.

You can download the Future Walk free of charge for your smartphone from the Apple and Android app stores.
