A chamber concert with members of the Berliner Philharmoniker at the Neue Nationalgalerie builds a musical bridge between the built utopias.
Unjustly forgotten: In this concert, members of the Berliner Philharmoniker recall persecuted composers of the Nazi era, Pavel Haas and Erwin Schulhoff, whose promising lives as composers came to a cruel end in concentration camps, as well as Hanns Eisler and Ernst Toch, who escaped Nazi terror through emigration. There will also be two works by the American composer Roger Tréfousse, who covers almost all genres from chamber music to film music.
Dominik Wollenweber (oboe and English horn), Alexander Bader (clarinet), Jelka Weber (flute), Stefan Schweigert (bassoon), Johannes Lamotke (horn) with music by Pavel Haas, Erwin Schulhoff, Roger Tréfousse, Hanns Eisler and Ernst Toch.
Limited number of participants! It is absolutely necessary to register online on the webseite of Neue Nationalgalerie (in the calendar, please select the date 10.05.).
